Representative Client Experience
Mr. Mock focuses his practice in the areas of commercial law and finance with a strong emphasis on complex investment structures, debt restructuring and workouts. He has been involved in numerous workout and debt restructurings involving commercial real estate projects and developer credits, including the structuring of deed of lieu transactions, uncontested foreclosures, receiverships, auctions, claw-back provisions, multi-state debt restructurings, asset swaps, deficiency note provisions and collateral pool arrangements.
Mr. Mock has handled all types of real estate lending and acquisition transactions including but not limited to land acquisition, development, construction, gap, permanent financing and term and revolving loans for all types of commercial and residential endeavors. He has also been involved in ground lease and sale - leaseback transactions on a subordinated and unsubordinated basis, equity and cash flow participations, mezzanine financing, synthetic leases and joint venture agreements involving institutional and development partners.
Mr. Mock also has extensive experience in matters involving for profit and not-for-profit long-term healthcare and senor living facilities, including assisted living continuing care retirement communities and nursing homes. He has represented both lenders and providers in taxable and tax-exempt financing for such projects. He also has experience in bond defaults and bond restructurings.
