Melody B. Lynch
Senior Associate
Senior associate Melody Lynch divides her work among the Labor and Employment law, Sports and Entertainment law, Commercial Litigation and eDiscovery practices. She has worked on matters involving Title VII, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, whistleblower laws and disputes over employment contracts and non-competition agreements, representing both private and public sector employers before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, and the Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division.
In the sports law arena, Melody has handled contract disputes and family law cases involving athletes in the National Basketball Association, National Football League and Major League Baseball.
Melody also litigates on behalf of clients in contract, tort and real estate disputes, and has represented large luxury hotels with various business, collection and contract matters.
In addition, Melody is a founding member of the firm's burgeoning eDiscovery practice. She frequently litigates cases involving electronically stored information and assists clients in preparing document retention and destruction policies in advance of litigation.
