Our Culture

The firm was founded on and continues to adhere to several guiding principles that have provided the framework for our culture - our conduct, professionalism, practice and collegiality.

Firm Management

Our law firm is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of all partners, with a strong Executive Committee of a smaller number of partners, to set policies and adopt guiding principles. The Executive Committee is chaired by the President of the firm, who has been given day-to-day authority from the Board of Directors for certain decisions. A non-lawyer Chief Operating Officer manages routine business operations and oversees the support staff. Attorneys and staff participate in one or more committees focusing on a variety of issues, such as associate relations, business development, community and charitable activities, diversity, environmental sustainability and technology.
