New Associate Benefits


  • $95,000 starting salary
  • $5,000 signing bonus (to help defray bar exam and moving expenses)
  • Discretionary achievement bonus ($5,000 minimum guaranteed for reaching the billable hour standard; $10,000 minimum guaranteed for exceeding the billable hour standard by more than 100 hours)
  • 1,860 billable hour standard
  • Ten paid vacation days, two paid personal days and five paid sick days

Retirement Plan:

  • Eligible for Employee funded 401(k) plan after completing 1 year of service and able to contribute (1-100% of gross) based on current IRS limits
  • Firm funded discretionary match of 401(k) contributions in an amount determined each year
  • Firm funded discretionary Profit Sharing contribution in an amount determined each year

Insurance:

  • Group Health Insurance: Firm subsidizes 90% of employee coverage; dependent/domestic partner coverage available at employee’s expense; new employees will be offered the Point of Service Plan 7 OG at open enrollment in June of each year, new employees have the option of electing the HSA Plan effective July 1 of each year
  • Life Insurance: 2x annual salary up to $750,000
  • Long Term Disability Insurance: 60% to a maximum benefit of $15,000/month
  • Section 125/Cafeteria Plan: Available at employee’s expense (on pre-tax basis): dental, vision, Aflac cancer, accident & sickness plans, medical & dependent care flexible spending accounts
