Orlando, FL – Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. is pleased to announce that attorney Alexandrea Simser was named president-elect of the Brevard County Association for Women Lawyers (BCAWL), an organization which actively promotes leadership roles of women in the legal profession, judiciary and community at large. BCAWL was founded to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and the common business interests of its members. Her new position is effective immediately.
Simser assists her clients with IP protection and acquisition strategies, including brand management, policing and enforcement, technology law issues, teaming/partnering strategies for global product and service roll-outs, complex business transactions, joint ventures, agreements for engineering and software services, subcontractor management, supply chain management and related matters. She represents startups and established businesses in an array of industries, including technology products and services, aerospace and aviation, cloud computing, communications, e-commerce, supply chain, and health care. Simser holds a law degree from Stetson University College of Law. She works in the firm’s Melbourne office and she also serves on the board of directors for the Founders Forum, a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurs and new business.
