Commitment to community has been an essential part of life at Lowndes since our inception. It's a fundamental element of our business philosophy.
The firm as a whole and our individual attorneys and staff have a long history of enthusiastically committing financial support and volunteer hours to charitable, civic, educational, industry, professional and trade organizations. Many hold leadership positions on the boards and committees of over 100 organizations.
Our attorneys have provided pro bono legal services in a variety of circumstances, such as serving as guardians ad litem for vulnerable minors, participating in a pretrial diversion program for youths arrested for non-violent misdemeanors, representing indigent men and women who need to obtain a divorce, and assisting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando, Inc. with clearing land titles on properties used to build homes.
Once again, the Orlando Business Journal has named Lowndes to its list of top Central Florida Philanthropic Companies/Organizations for 2022.
