March 20, 2020

As the incidence and impact of COVID-19 continues to rise, we would like to update you on the additional measures we are taking as a firm to ensure the well-being of our clients, our employees, and our community.

Following recommendations from the CDC, other public health organizations and local authorities, the vast majority of Lowndes employees are working remotely for the foreseeable future. While we are not aware of any active COVID-19 cases in our offices or among firm members or their families, we taking this proactive step to protect our people and do our part to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Although we will be working remotely, the firm remains fully operational and committed to meet clients’ needs. A small team of essential staff will remain at our office to assure that we promptly handle physical mail and other tasks that require in-person attention. Remote employees have the same access to electronic mail, the telephone system, and electronic files as if they were physically in the office. Importantly, all work done remotely is managed and protected under the same secure infrastructure and safeguards as are in place in the office.

Our website will remain a resource both for updates relating to our operations, COVID-19, and other helpful information. Please don’t hesitate to contact your Lowndes attorney with any questions or concerns.

While we may not be able to greet each other in person in the coming weeks, we wish you, your colleagues and your families the best during these challenging times.

Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in us.
