James Walson Comments on Commercial Evictions After Moratorium Ends

Shareholder James Walson was quoted in an Orlando Business Journal article discussing how commercial evictions have been affected since Gov. Ron DeSantis allowed them to resume in July. Walson noted that local evictions have been increasing and that he expects that to continue through fourth-quarter 2020. 

He further explained that landlords who weren't able to negotiate agreements with tenants will now be turning to the courts for enforcement. "Push has turned into shove," Walson said.
