Lowndes provided zoning and land use counsel to Orlando, Fla.-based Chau Medical Center for the development of a 66,000-square-foot mixed-use development in Winter Springs, Fla. Plans for the project, located at the southwest corner of Hacienda Drive and S.R. 434., include a three-story medical office building and development rights for a retail center and assisted living facility.
Constructed on five acres near the Winter Springs' Greeneway Interchange District, the development will be completed in multiple phases. The 10,190-square-foot medical office building will be constructed first, with the 6,400-square-foot retail center and the 50,000-square-foot, 114-bed assisted living facility to follow.
Lowndes attorney Rebecca Wilson, who chairs the firm’s Land Use, Zoning and Environmental Group, represented Chau Medical Center during the approval process.
