Lowndes is pleased to announce that attorneys Michael Piccolo and Jake Herrel have been appointed to serve as chair and co-chair (respectively) of the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA). Piccolo and Herrel will be planning monthly meetings and CLEs as well as social events to bring together Central Florida’s business law practitioners.
Founded in 1993, The Orange County Bar Association has over 3,250 members and has been the primary vehicle for area attorneys to meet, exchange information and provide valuable legal and community services to residents in surrounding communities. Currently the OCBA has twenty-four substantive law committees and four special program committees designed to provide current and timely information to a clients legal specialty area.
Piccolo focuses his legal practice on complex litigation, civil litigation, commercial litigation, business litigation, intellectual property litigation, significant divorce cases, and probate and trust litigation.
Herrel focuses his legal practice in land Use, zoning and environmental group. A significant portion of Jake's practice is devoted to guiding clients through the sometimes-confusing process of land development, assisting with obtaining entitlements and permit approvals for a wide range of real estate projects, including major commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
