Lowndes Hires New Attorneys Samantha Duran and Ty Pryor

Orlando, FL – Lowndes is pleased to welcome Samantha Duran and Ty Pryor as new associates in the firm’s Real Estate Group. Both attorneys have previous experience as summer associates at the firm and will work from the firm’s Orlando office.
Ms. Duran earned her juris doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was selected for Order of the Coif. She received her bachelor’s degree in legal studies and political science from the University of Central Florida and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society. While at law school, Ms. Duran served as a legal extern for both the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the University of Florida Self Insurance Program. She was also articles editor for The Florida Law Review, a research assistant for Professor William Page, and a teaching assistant for Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy classes, as well as a volunteer for the Restoration of Civil Rights Project.
Mr. Pryor earned his juris doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was a member of the Journal of Technology Law & Policy and received CALI Awards in Cybersecurity Law and Administrative Law. While at law school, he served as a legal intern for the United States Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Pryor received his bachelor’s degree in public communications and political science from the University of North Florida, where he was a member of the baseball team. He also holds an associate of arts degree in Russian studies from the Defense Language Institute. Before attending law school, Mr. Pryor was a professional baseball player and high school mathematics teacher, and he also served for five years in the United States Army as a cryptologic linguist.
