Shareholder Brendan Lynch, who serves as chairman of United Arts of Central Florida,  was quoted in the Orlando Business Journal regarding Orange County's grant program for supporting local arts and cultural organizations during the pandemic.

Orange County is providing $5 million in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding for two grant programs that will cover costs related to personal protective equipment and outdoor performances. United Arts is managing and administering the grant programs through an application process.

"We expect at a minimum of several dozen groups," said Lynch. "We know through the first few hours, five groups started applying this morning when the portal opened."
