Derren Ciaglia and Ryan Scordato Named Shareholders at Lowndes
Orlando, FL – Lowndes is pleased to announce that Derren K. Ciaglia and Ryan P. Scordato have been elected shareholders in the firm. These promotions are effective February 1, 2021.

Ciaglia is member of the firm’s Family and Marital Law practice and is trained in the interdisciplinary model of collaborative family law. She devotes her practice to a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child support, child custody, alimony, paternity matters and family law litigation involving complex financial and parenting issues. Ciaglia, who served most recently as a senior associate at the firm, received her law degree cum laude and a Family Law Certificate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Michigan. She is admitted to practice in Florida and Illinois.
Previously serving as of counsel with Lowndes, Scordato is a seasoned business-focused attorney who is familiar with the construction industry, particularly in the Central Florida market. He assists owners, developers, contractors, design professionals and subcontractors with a variety of construction issues including breach of contract, delay, latent defects, water intrusion and mold, differing site conditions, indemnity and warranty. In addition to advising on issues related to construction claims of lien and surety bond claims, he regularly counsels clients in the areas of commercial litigation and business law. Admitted to practice in Florida, Scordato holds a law degree from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center and a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Connecticut.
