We at Lowndes are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and colleague, former Lowndes Shareholder Morey Raiskin. With a remarkable career spanning 40 years, Morey was well-known for both his exceptional legal acumen and his calm demeanor.

Morey's journey in law began in Las Vegas and eventually led him to Orlando, where he embraced an in-house role with Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, rising to Lead Labor and Employment Counsel and Administrative Vice President of its subsidiary, Sea World. Upon his return to private practice, Morey became a trusted advisor to countless clients who sought his thoughtful guidance and invaluable counsel. Known as a mentor and leader within the firm, he generously shared his wisdom and nurtured the growth of fellow attorneys, guiding the Labor & Employment Law Group at Lowndes for more than 20 years.

Morey’s rare blend of expertise and empathy was admired by clients and colleagues alike, and he will be deeply missed. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his beloved wife, Michelle, his sons, Marshall and Evan, and all his family and friends.
