Laura Walda Elected Winter Park Chamber of Commerce Chair

Lowndes is pleased to announce that Shareholder Laura Walda has been elected chair of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She has served for multiple years in a variety of capacities for the Chamber, including as a member of both the Executive and Government Affairs Committees. 

At the firm, Walda focuses on complex contract and lease negotiation, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, negotiation and structuring of credit facilities and problem-solving. She also has experience in commercial litigation focusing on title insurance matters, landlord/tenant disputes and banking litigation.

A long-time community volunteer, Walda also serves on the Indiana University Maurer School of Law Alumni Board's Executive Commitee, the Mead Botanical Graden Board of Trustees, and the Central Florida Vocal Arts Board of Directors. She previously served as president for both CREW Orlando and the Albin Polasek Musem and Sculpture Gardens. Walda has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
