Lowndes Advises Hillpointe and Skorman Development on Live Local Act Apartment Project in Lake County
Lowndes advised Winter Park-based developer Hillpointe and Skorman Development in developing one of the first Live Local mixed-income housing projects in Lake County. The 300-unit apartment complex, Pointe Grand Minneola, will be situated just off U.S. 27 and the south side of Sullivan Road, near Shepherd Lake on the northern edge of Minneola.
The first phase of the multi-phase project will include nine 3-story buildings on a 20-acre lot with 300 apartments and key amenities like a pool and fitness center. Future development of a 6-acre commercial lot and a second Live Local multifamily lot on 26 acres is also planned.
Lowndes attorney Tara Tedrow, a shareholder in the firm’s Land Use, Zoning & Environmental practice, represented Hillpointe and Skorman Development during the approval process.
