Lowndes Advises PENLER on Luxury Apartment Complex in Clermont, Fla.
Lowndes provided land use counsel to PENLER, an Atlanta-based multifamily developer, on a 288-unit luxury apartment community in Clermont, Fla. Located directly behind East Town Centre on West Colonial Drive, the complex will feature two-story, garden-style buildings with one, two and three-bedroom floor plans.
According to a company press release, the community, which is PENLER’s first project in the Orlando market, will also include a 6,000-square-foot clubhouse with fitness center, an expansive pool deck, a “great lawn,” a dog park and a pond facing the nine-mile South Lake Trail. Construction is expected to be completed in Spring 2022.
Lowndes attorney Rebecca Wilson, who chairs the firm’s Land Use, Zoning and Environmental Group, assisted PENLER with land use due diligence.
