Lowndes Named to Orlando Business Journal’s 2020 Central Florida Philanthropic Companies/Organizations List
The Orlando Business Journal has named Lowndes to its list of Central Florida Philanthropic Companies/Organizations for 2020. Lowndes was ranked No. 4 for volunteer hours and No. 13 for charitable contributions during 2019.
Each year, the Orlando Business Journal compiles a list of the most philanthropic companies in the area. In 2019, Lowndes contributed $220,000 in donations and provided 11,000 hours of pro bono and volunteer hours. More than 100 local and national nonprofits benefited from the firm’s philanthropic efforts, including the American Diabetes Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida, Heart of Florida United Way, Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, LIFT Orlando, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and United Arts of Central Florida.
