Lowndes is pleased to announce that attorneys Rachel Gebaide, Melody Lynch, and Rebecca Wilson were recently recognized in the 2023 edition of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite™ Notable Women Leaders in Law.

The list includes individuals who have been nominated and accepted after an editor's review, meeting criteria such as being in good standing with the Florida Bar, practicing law in Florida for at least 15 years, and having a significant impact in the legal field. Nominees are also required to demonstrate mentorship or serve as a role model, exhibit leadership in professional organizations, and contribute to civic and community service initiatives.

Gebaide is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and chair of the Labor and Employment Law Group. She is an experienced employment litigator and adviser, counseling companies in the management of their human resources issues.

Lynch focuses her practice on probate, trust & fiduciary litigation, contested guardianships, healthcare and complex business disputes. Her MBA complements her law degree when she analyzes financial statements and handles other complicated issues involving assets. 

Wilson represents property owners, developers, lenders and other development participants with issues related to zoning, comprehensive plans, concurrency, administrative law, Developments of Regional Impact (DRI’s), procurement issues, due diligence and property rights. A tireless advocate for her clients, Chambers USA states she "can be tough when she needs to be."
