Shayla Johnson Mount focuses her practice in the areas of real property law, community association law, contracts, covenant enforcement, and corporate governance. As one of the few Florida Bar Board Certified Experts in Condominium and Planned Development Law – a title held by less than 0.2% of Florida attorneys – Shayla leverages this specialized knowledge to develop practical solutions for the unique legal issues that community associations and property owners face.
Her practice encompasses a wide range of services, including mediation proceedings, contract drafting and negotiations, bulk telecommunications contract review, and amendments to governing documents. Shayla is also adept at handling foreclosure litigation, providing guidance at association meetings, reviewing MRTA and discriminatory covenants, addressing fair housing issues, and assisting with association turnovers.
