Shareholder Melody Lynch Named President of the Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid Society
Orlando, FL - Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A. is pleased to announce that attorney Melody B. Lynch has assumed the position of president of the Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid Society’s Board of Directors, the governing body for the Legal Aid Society that assists low income families in Central Florida. Lynch, who most recently served as president-elect for the organization, has served on the Board of Directors since 2013 and began volunteering with the Legal Aid Society in 2008 as a Guardian ad Litem, representing abused and neglected children. Her term began on June 1, 2017.

Lynch is a founding member of the firm's Privacy & eDiscovery Practice. She focuses her legal practice on complex business litigation, probate & trust litigation, banking litigation, intellectual property litigation, privacy & eDiscovery, and labor & employment litigation. She has worked on matters involving a wide variety of business disputes, employment contracts, non-competition agreements, non-disclosure agreements and trade secrets. Her estate litigation practice focuses on matters involving wills, trusts, or contested guardianships. Lynch is heavily focused on the Central Florida community where she was born and raised. Lynch holds leadership positions on other community boards, including the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and Children’s Home Society, Central Florida Division. She has been awarded with the Legal Aid Society New Attorney Award of Excellence and the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyer Pro Bono Award of Excellence. Most recently, she was honored with the “40 Under 40,” award by the Orlando Business Journal. Lynch has two young children and a husband who is a shareholder at Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed.
